The General Secretary of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, stressed today (Sunday) the importance of having a single ruler in the issue of the assault on Iraqi sovereignty, His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali said, in an interview with Al-Iraqiya news channel, that “regarding this issue, the Al-Sadiqun Parliamentary Bloc requested a special session on the issue of sovereignty, meaning we must have a single, indivisible rule on any issue of military aggression on Iraqi lands, whether This attack was from Iran, Turkey, or an American attack, as happened in the airport case, His Eminence added, “I believe that the one rule is that it is not permissible to attack Iraqi territory, and the government must, and among its duties, not allow Iraqi territory to be used to attack neighboring countries, His Eminence continued, “If the state is able, it means that we do not allow any state to attack, but if the state is not able and the government agrees to defend itself, and in the event that it is proven that there is an attack under certain conditions, then the position is for the government, His Eminence saw that the role of the resistance factions is required until now. Noting that “the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, guarantees the possibility of the Iraqi security and military services, if he performs his duty without the resistance factions, then we will be satisfied, trust and support, He added, “If there are no logistical and armamental accounts, the resistance factions will, in turn, defend Iraq’s sovereignty,” noting that “Turkey is an advanced country in the field of air control, but Iraq until this moment and deliberately by some prime ministers does not have the ability to defend its sovereignty because it does not have Air defense system, Sheikh Al-Khazali pointed out that “I spoke to the Prime Minister and spoke to him in the media and with the Minister of Defense, and I told him, I hope you will complete Iraq’s ability to defend its sovereignty in the air, and this is the number one goal,” stressing that “Iraq has hero soldiers and capabilities on the ground, but we have a shortage in the field of defense in air, His Eminence indicated that “therefore, I say that until now the role of the resistance factions is required and the external threat has not ended, and the military establishment cannot do it,” stressing that “if the opportunity is given to a national government whose goal is to defend sovereignty, Iraq does not need a long time to defend its sovereignty,
