the head of the Al-Sadiqoon Parliamentary Bloc, Adnan Faihan, Today(Saturday) called for holding a special session to discuss foreign attacks on Iraqi sovereignty. Faihan said, in an intervention in the Parliament that “every deputy has the right to criticize any foreign interference that affects the sovereignty of Iraq, and the parliamentary oath that we took and the national duty requires us to be up to the responsibility and not separate sovereignty at his whim. He added, “Where were the voices condemning the violation of sovereignty, which was the major breach that America committed by assassinating the martyred leaders, and where were these voices from the presence of foreign forces on Iraqi soil despite the Foreign Ministry’s acknowledgment of the illegality of the presence of Turkish and American forces. “We want to discuss the issue of Iraqi sovereignty in a special session, and the Iraqi parliament must issue a decision that proves that the parliament respects Iraqi sovereignty wherever it is (in the region and the rest of the cites ),” Faihan added. For his part, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi responded by agreeing to allocate a closed session on Tuesday to discuss Iraqi sovereignty.
