the General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Khazali,Today (Saturday) called on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, to form a special investigation committee into the incident that affected a number of Iraqi army fighters and led to the death of a number of them in eastern Kirkuk governorate.
His Eminence said in a tweet via “Twitter”, while offering condolences for the martyrdom of a group of Iraqi soldiers: “We received the news of the martyrdom of a group of valiant Iraqi army fighters stationed within the sector of the Eighth Division – the 31st Brigade / east of Kirkuk, in a treacherous and cowardly operation with silenced weapons.” The sound led to the elevation of their souls to its Creator.”
He added, “While we offer our condolences to the families of the martyrs and their families, we call on the concerned authorities, led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, to form a special investigation committee to find out the merits of this crime and to hold the negligent accountable and those who facilitated the implementation of this heinous operation, His Eminence called on “the sons of the armed forces to be careful and not to be lenient by taking security precautions during and after the implementation of the duty.”
