Al-Rubaie: Corruption poses a threat to Iraq, and we expect Al-Basri to play a major role in combating it
The spokesman for the Political Bureau of the Sadiqoun Movement, Mahmoud Al-Rubaie, confirmed today (Thursday) that the people are waiting, from the head of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Authority, Abu Ali Al-Basri, for a major role in recovering the looted funds, in continuation of his previous role in penetrating and drying up the sources of terrorism.
Al-Rubaie said in a tweet via “Twitter”, that atonement was the greatest danger to Iraq’s security, and Abu Ali Al-Basri had a distinguished role in penetrating it, drying up its sources, and thwarting many of his criminal operations.
He added, that the danger now for Iraq is corruption, and we expect this brave Iraqi man to play a major role in combating it and recovering the looted from the Iraqis’ money.
Al-Rubaie also concluded his tweet with the hashtag “#Here he comes”.
