Dheban: The emergency reserve funds were allocated in violation of the budget law
The representative of the Sadiqoun bloc, Thamer Dheban, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the emergency reserve funds were allocated to ministries and entities not associated with a ministry in violation of the budget law.
Dhebans said in a press statement, some of the funded amounts exceeded the specified ceiling for disbursement, which is 3 billion dinars under the budget law.
He pointed out that “the majority of transfers from the allocation of the emergency reserve account came to cover non-emergency purposes,” noting that Al-Kazemi’s government spent 81.5 billion dinars after entering the stage of conducting business.
