Sheikh Khazali discusses with the Russian ambassador the effects of the Ukrainian conflict on the region

The General Secretary of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq , His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, received today (Tuesday) in his office in Baghdad, Mr. “Elbrus Kutrashev”, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq.
During the meeting, they discussed the most important events on the Iraqi and international political arena and the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and its effects on the region.
While His Eminence Sheikh Khazali referred to the Iraqi internal affairs to the serious will of the new Iraqi government and its relentless endeavor to provide the necessary services that our people need and to proceed with concrete and realistic measures to return Iraq, the government and the people, to its Arab and regional political and economic status alike.
For his part, Mr. Kutrashev praised the efforts made by the leaders of the coordination alatar altansiqi to break out of the political impasse and succeed in forming the new government, and for his government’s full readiness to cooperate with the Iraqi government in all fields and in the interest of the two peoples.
