Sheikh Khazali offers condolences on the death of former Deputy Prime Minister Salam Al-Zobaie
The Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, today (Monday) mourned the death of former Deputy Prime Minister Salam Al-Zobaie.
His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali said, in a tweet to him on Twitter, “With great regret, we received news of the death of the brother, former Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Salam Al-Zobaie (may God have mercy on him)”.
His Eminence added that the deceased Al-Zobaie was one of the moderate political figures who opposed the post-2003 phase in Iraq.
And His Eminence continued, we pray to God Almighty to bless the deceased with his vast mercy and inspire his family and loved ones patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
