Al Baldawi : a power consisting of 2500 American combat troops proves that Washington did not commit to the decision to withdraw troops

On saturday, the member of Fatah Alliance mohammed Al Baldawi has demanded the government to explain the inconsistency between the declarations of the national security advisor Qasim Al Araji and the commander of the U.S. military in the middle east General Mckenzie regarding the fate of the american combat troops.
Al Baldawi has stated in a press release “ the American General Mckenzie’s declaration has completely blasted the statement that the national security advisor Qasim Al Araji and the negotiating delegation with the American side have announced”.
And he added “Mckenzie constantly confirming the presence of a military force consisting of 2500 american combat troops within the Iraqi land proves that the later did not commit to the agreement between the Iraqi and American government to withdraw troops by the end of the current year” demanding the government to””explain the inconsistency between the Iraqi statement and Mackenzie’s declaration”
Al Baldawi has clarified that “the presence of the American military in Iraq was not beneficial, rather it was responsible for targeting the locations of the security forces and the popular mobilisation forces (PMF) during the liberation battles, and arming ISIS with information and ammunition, apart from their public contribution to the airport offence which has claimed the lives of the leaders to victory”
Last Thursday, the national security advisor Qasim Al Araji had announced the end of the combat missions of the American forces and their withdrawal from Iraq, before Mckenzie had surprised the public opinion with declarations confirming the stay of the American military presence in Iraq.
