Sheikh Al-Khazali: In the coordination framework, the Shiite’s entitlements cannot be risked, as this will lead to its loss once and for all

On Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Khazali, stated that the coordinating framework has enough seats to form the largest bloc, but that it would not risk Shiite’s entitlement as it would lead to its loss once and for all.

According to His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali, during a recent television interview, the necessary consensus has not been attained to proceed to choosing the President of the Republic, since the session is being made based on the need to break the will of the other party.
Also, he stated that “through the largest bloc in the parliament, the guarantor one-third guarantees the Shiite’s rights, clarifying that Massoud Barzani had not rejected “Itihad Al-Watani,” but rather just wanted the precedency of the republic over other positions.”.

Furthermore he added “ In the tripartite alliance the Sadrist bloc is a minority compared to the Sunnis and the Kurds , clarifying that the Shia Framework is allied with other figures and forces under the title of “ national stability” and that it is the largest bloc.

Additionally He said that “the Shiite framework has 83 representatives, however the option of forming the government on our own will not be discussed,” pointing out that “there have been changes and meetings outside of Iraq in places such as Turkey and the UAE in this election cycle.”

His Eminence indicated the the most important consideration is reaching an agreement on the largest Shiite bloc, and the framework is open to any candidate for the post of prime minister, because the confirmation of the largest Shiite bloc must come before Jaafar al-Sadr’s selection as the prime minister , and that the framework has no problem with Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr presenting a candidate for the prime minister position, noting that he did not ask the Shiite framework to present a candidate for the position.

His Eminence’s believes that the best solution for Iraq is to change from a parliamentary polity to a presidential system, since consensus implies the distribution of ministries among political components, what is taking place today in the political scene results from competition in this area , in which the Sadrist movement wants to gain the Shiite share of the ministries.

Sheikh Khazali also clarified that obtaining a strong government and a prime minister that is capable of effectively leading the country is the bias of the framework’s work, adding that the independent representatives are aware of the Shiite framework’s commitment to get an independent candidate for the prime minister position , adding that Mr. Jaafar al-Sadr is an acceptable candidate, but what is his program and what are his commitments to the Shiite framework?

His Eminence added that “the Shiite framework is not supported by the Gulf states, and Shiite positions are not for sale,” expressing that there is a feeling of anxiety among the Shiite component in general and fear of losing their rights.”

Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali also welcomed anyone who wants to start a new chapter. anyone who has nothing to do with the crimes and the bloodshed of Iraqis, pointing out that “there is a difference between the war of states and sending Takfiri terrorists who carry out terrorist operations targeting citizens,” noting that “he is welcoming those who are not directly connected nor associated with the shed of the blood of Iraqis and wants to start a new chapter.”

As for the Muqawama factions handing over their weapons, sheikh Al-Khazali insisted that this matter cannot be resolved until the occupation forces leave the country, then and only then with the actual departure of the occupation forces ,the Muqawama will hand their equipment and weapons to Al-Ḥashd Ash-Shaʿbī.

Sheikh Khazali also indicated that Al-Muqawama completely rejects the bombing of diplomatic missions, revealing that information has been gathered regarding the Israeli presence, and that what was bombed in Erbil is the Mossad headquarters, , while he considered that any bombing of an Israeli headquarters anywhere in the world is a legitimate and noble goal and we encourage it even if Mohammed bin Salman bombed an Israeli headquarters in Iraq then we will not denounce that, stressing at the same time that the use of Iraqi territory to threaten the security of neighboring countries is unacceptable.

Last but not least Sheikh Al-Khazali also expresses concern about the performance of the caretaker prime minister,Al-Kadhemi who sought to create an inter-Shia infighting , questioning his conviction and satisfaction with Al-Hashed Al-Shabia’ and revealing that Al-Kadhemi invited figures close to sayyed Al-Sadr and asked them to arrange a meeting between Abu Ragheef and Al-Sader to accuse Al-Asaib of targeting his house.
