Sheikh Khazali: The Shiite Framework Initiative will be launched in the upcoming days on the national level

The Secretary-General of Asi’b Ahlu Al-haq movement , His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, announced on Wednesday that the Shiite Framework Initiative would be launched in the near future to end current crisis, while calling on all parties to give priority to the country’s interests, as the country needs a great deal of patience and tolerance, sacrifice, and public awareness.

In a speech following the meeting of the third guarantor, which took place this morning at the office of Hadi Al-Amiri, the head of Al-Fateh Alliance, His Eminence stated that the political forces affiliated with the Shiite framework are seeking agreement on the formation of a government,, indicating that meetings were held between the framework and its allies to discuss proposals that could save the country from the political blockage.

According to His Eminence, the initiative will be presented at the national level very shortly, and that it will be dependent on the specifications of the prime minister and the republic, accordingly, the Shiite framework will not be based on the number of ministries, but rather on the government’s guarantees and its work.

He proceeded saying ,those who are in the Shiite framework agree upon the decisions taken , but not everyone support the participation in the government. A not insignificant number of those within the framework do not wish to participate in the government, because the members of the framework distinguish between consensus and agreement.

The coordinating framework supports the idea of having a majority, but in an accurate status and as stated in the terms and conditions, His Eminence also expressed his hope that a real majority will prevail everywhere so real support may be obtained.

Sheik also revealed among the tripartite alliance there is sharing and consensus

, which includes 12 Shia ministries, 6 Sunni ministries, and 5 Kurdish ministries, noting that what is meant by “Al-Attar Mixture” (the apothecary mixture) is the shared ministries and spoils.
