The representative of the Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc, Hassan Salem, On Thursday, expressed his categorical rejection of the decision to grant pension rights to Saddam’s fedayeen, while calling for activating the laws that ban the Baath Party and prosecuting those involved in the blood of Iraqis. Salem said during a press conference that the “Saddam Fedayeen” committed the worst forms of crimes and were not satisfied with their crimes, but rather joined the terrorist ISIS, indicating that the Iraqis were waiting to be brought to justice instead of granting them privileges. Salem considered granting salaries to Saddam’s fedayeen, despite their criminality, as a matter that bears a strange contradiction, especially since the Iraqis see rights granted to murderers, criminals, and Baathists, denying the existence of any forced transfers for them. Takfiri entities and the implementation of death sentences for criminals are among the henchmen of the defunct regime.
