he General Secretary of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais Khazali, and the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, confirmed, on Monday, support for the government’s measures to reduce the price of the dollar.
A statement from Al-Amiri’s office stated that he had received, in his office in Baghdad, the General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais Khazali, and the meeting was attended by members of the political bureaus of the Badr Organization and the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq.
He added, “The two sides discussed the latest political and economic developments, and it was emphasized to continue to support the government for the success of its ministerial program and to set effective procedures and solutions to reduce the exchange rate of the dollar.
The statement continued, “The two sides discussed the importance of the role of the Al-Fatah Alliance in the unity and cohesion of the al’atar altansiqei, the perpetuation of true partnership, and the continuation of work in order to achieve the supreme national interest and the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
