The military spokesman of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Jawad al-Talibawi, Today (Saturday)confirmed his rejection of any attempt to offend the enemies and seditionists, against the revolutionary reference, the martyr Muhammad al-Sadr, calling on the legislative authorities to legislate a law that prohibits insulting religious references and symbols. And Al-Talibawi said in a tweet on “Twitter”, that it is based on our firm approach in defending the religion of God Almighty and the doctrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and in continuation of what we have become accustomed to since the founding of our struggling movement, which based its existence on the thought of the two Sadrist martyrs (may God be pleased with him); We affirm, since we raised the banner of the people of truth, that we stand up and confront any attempt to offend our revolutionary reference, our great father, and our holy master, the martyr Muhammad al-Sadr (may God Almighty be pleased with him), which is issued by enemies, seditionists, and some ignorant and foolish people. And he added that this insult deliberately falsifies the facts that we lived under his honorable shadow in his resistance to Saddam’s resurrection and his tyrannical regime, which he crowned with his pure blood and the blood of his sons and his righteous followers. And he continued, and from his pure approach, our heritage was in resisting the occupation and the criminal groups of takfir, and from his bright light we are still confronting the soft war and cultural invasion. Al-Talibawi also called on the Iraqi legislative authorities to enact a law that would prevent insulting our great auditors (may God sanctify the secrets of the past and may God perpetuate the shadow of the rest), to reduce these offensive abuses, and hold the perpetrators accountable, stressing that the religious references represent the nation’s safety valve, the title of its pride, glory and honor. Defending them is a patriotic, legal and moral duty for all the free and honorable sons of our patient and struggling Iraqi people.
