Al-Rubaie appreciates the position of the judiciary to invalidate the transfer of funds to the regional government.
The spokesman for the Political Bureau of the Sadiqoon Movement, Mahmoud al-Rubaie,Today (Wednesday) appreciated the decision of the Iraqi judiciary regarding the illegality of the political agreement to transfer funds to the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Al-Rubaie said, in a tweet via “Twitter”, that the judiciary represents the pillar of the state and the title of justice, and its decisions are binding on all authorities.
Al-Rubaie considered today’s court ruling invalidating the clause of the political agreement to transfer funds to the Kurdistan Regional Government, which supports our just demands that the money not be spent until the region fulfills its obligations and sends oil revenues to Baghdad.
Al-Rubaie concluded his tweet with the hashtag, “Thank you for the brave and independent judiciary”.
