Sheikh Khazali strongly condemns the burning of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden and calls for a unified position to defend the holy sites.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Khazali, today (Sunday) condemned the burning of the Holy Quran by extremist parties in Sweden, while calling on the Islamic nation to take a unified position to condemn this barbaric behavior.
And His Eminence Sheikh Khazali said, in a tweet on Twitter, that he strongly condemns the Swedish government’s permission for the despicable behavior that came from a far-right politician, by exceeding the burning of a copy of the Holy Qur’an, during a demonstration in Stockholm.
He added, “If this indicates anything, it indicates the shallow thinking of groups that call for democracy and freedom in every forum and assembly”.
His Eminence called on the entire Islamic nation to condemn this barbaric behavior of those who claim to renounce extremism and hate speech, while they practice the extremist act that stirs up hatred among human beings. Therefore, actual steps must be taken at the highest levels, so that no one dares to repeat this disgraceful act.
And he continued, “For our part, we call on the Iraqi Islamic forces and personalities, to stand together, in defense of our sanctities, beliefs, and firm foundations on which the great Islam raised us’’.
