The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, today (Monday) condemned the bombing that targeted Arbat Airport in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, and considered it a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty. He called for a unified political position to confront these repeated violations.
His Eminence said in a blog on the “X” platform, “Iraqi sovereignty and its defense are among the constants that cannot be waived, or even flattered, considering that what happened at Arbat Airport in Sulaymaniyah Governorate is a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty.
His Eminence stressed the need for the Iraqi government and all political forces to stand together to stop these repeated violations.
He added by saying: “Mercy for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and patience and solace for their families and loved ones”.
