Al-Kananiy There is a societal rejection of the sectarian rhetoric adopted by “Al-Khanjar” to achieve external goals to overthrow the political process.

A member of the political bureau of the Al-Sadiqoon Movement, Ahmed Al-Kanani, confirmed on Sunday that there is a societal rejection of the sectarian discourse adopted by “Al-Khanjar” to achieve external plans aimed at overthrowing the political process. While he considered that his incitement against the security forces is one of the reasons for the fall of Mosul into the hands of ISIS, he pointed out that the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, has a wide and diverse audience in Nineveh.
Al-Kanani said during a televised interview that the authentic sheikhs in Mosul reject the speech of the “fools,” stressing that the dagger represents a foreign policy aimed at overthrowing the political process.
He pointed out that sectarian rhetoric before the elections is socially rejected, especially since Khamis al-Khanjar was the main supporter of terrorism and that his incitement is one of the reasons for the fall of Mosul into the hands of ISIS.
Al-Kinani stated that the participants in the special vote were not affected by the calls for a boycott, and that most Iraqis will go to the polls in rejection of the calls for a boycott, indicating that their conviction in the elections depends on ending the problems.
He added that the Commission took enough time to prepare for the elections, pointing out that some of the boycotters were thanking the Commission and now they disparage it, while he explained that in developed countries the electoral participation rate does not exceed 50%.
Al-Kinani considered that the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, has an audience in Nineveh, and that the Al- Sadiqoon movement is the most prominent political party with a diverse audience.
