The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Ali Al-Jamali, confirmed today (Sunday) that the issue of the presidency of Parliament is tied to political consensus within the Sunni component.
Al-Jamali stated in a press interview, “The issue of the presidency of Parliament will be decided in the coming days, and the matter depends on the issue of political consensus within the Sunni component itself, and also with the other components, by presenting a person who is acceptable and capable of managing parliamentary sessions”.
He added, “The sessions were filled with chaos during the past year, so someone who has the ability to control the rhythm of the sessions must be chosen”.
