Faihan: The American attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces positions in central Baghdad is a threat to Iraq’s security and stability.

The head of the Al-Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc, Adnan Faihan, called on today (Thursday) the government to assume its full responsibility for preserving the sovereignty of Iraq and the security and safety of its people, by working hard to end the presence of foreign forces on Iraqi soil, considering that they remain a threat to the country’s security.
In a blog post on the “X” website, Faihan denounced the continued violations and transgressions against Iraqi sovereignty and Iraqi blood, which is recklessly shed by the American forces who are present in Iraqi military bases under the cover of the so-called (International Coalition to Fight ISIS).
Feihan considered that the violation that occurred today by targeting one of the official sites of the Iraqi forces and the martyrdom of a number of the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Mujahideen in the center of the capital, Baghdad, is a threat to Iraq’s security and stability.
He stressed the need for the Iraqi government to bear its full responsibility for preserving the sovereignty of Iraq and the security and safety of its people and to carry out its national duty by working hard and quickly to end the presence of these forces and all other foreign forces on Iraqi territory and to commit to implementing the resolution of the Iraqi Council of Representatives for the year 2020, which obligated it to work to end The presence of any foreign military forces on Iraqi territory.
