The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Ali Turki Al-Jamali, described On Wednesday the meeting of President Abdul Latif Rashid with the American Ambassador in Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, as “shameful”.
Al-Jamali said in a press statement, “The meeting of the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, with the American Ambassador, Alina Romanowski, is not surprising, given that the latter is a representative of the quotas that brought him and not the real title of the position of President of the Republic”.
He added, “Romanowski is a continuation of the meeting that took place yesterday between the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, and the Commander-in-Chief of the coalition forces in Iraq and Syria, General Joel Fall, yesterday, who affirmed the continued American military presence in Iraq”.
