The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Ali Al-Jamali, confirmed today, Monday, that Shaalan Al-Karim’s chances of assuming the position of Speaker of Parliament are non-existent, while he called on the political blocs to agree on a non-controversial figure to restore the prestige of Parliament.
Al-Jamali stated in a press interview, “The chances of Shaalan Al-Karim have become non-existent, given that the issue has turned into an issue of public opinion, rejecting the return of the buried Baath Party”.
Al-Jamali called on “the political blocs to restore the prestige of Parliament through real consensus on nominating non-controversial figures who do not have records of integrity, corruption, etc.”.
