The spokesman for the Al-Sadiqoon, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, on Saturday condemned the repeated American attacks on the sovereignty of Iraq and the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces. While he stressed that the Mobilization Forces are an official force and targeting them is targeting the government, he threatened to take a firm stance if Jordan’s involvement in these attacks is proven.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement that the treacherous criminal acts committed by the enemy of the people, America and its agents, will not prevent us from defending the homeland, sovereignty, and sanctities.
He added, amid the hypocrisy and duplicity practiced by some in their positions, that the popular Mobilization Forces are a government force and targeting them is targeting the country and the government.
He continued, if it is proven that Jordan participated in the attack on Iraqi territory, we will hold the government accountable for its support for low oil prices sold to the Jordanian government, indicating that its position will be to take all legal measures against Jordan.
