The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Hassan Salem, called on Saturday for an emergency parliamentary session to be held regarding the repeated American attacks on the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces. While he stressed the necessity of accelerating the implementation of the decision to end the foreign presence in Iraq, he called on the Foreign Ministry to internationalize the file and file a complaint with the United Nations in response to the crimes Washington and its violation of the country’s sovereignty.
Salem said in a press statement that Parliament is required to hold an emergency session to speed up the implementation of the decision to remove the American forces occupying Iraqi territory as a result of their terrorism, crime, disregard for the blood of Iraqis, and violation of Iraqi sovereignty.
Salem considered that the American attacks targeted the government through its bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces affiliated with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, which resulted in the martyrdom of 16 members and the wounding of 37 members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, indicating that these American actions were similar to its bastard Zionist entity, which commits brutal massacres against the Palestinian people in disguise. In accordance with all international and humanitarian laws.
Salem also stressed the importance of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry calling for an emergency session of the UN Security Council and submitting a complaint to the United Nations regarding this brutal crime and violation of the country’s sovereignty, in addition to expelling the American ambassador, considering that silence will lead to America persisting and committing other crimes and violations of sovereignty.
