Salem: The Parliamentary Martyrs and Political Prisoners Committee will adopt a proposed law to provide justice to red card holders.
The head of the Parliamentary Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners Committee, Hassan Salem, confirmed today (Thursday) his committee’s intention to adopt a proposed law that would do justice to red card holders, while pointing to the importance of standing with this segment and doing justice to them.
Salem said, “The proposed law on redress for red card holders will see the light soon, as the committee cares about this oppressed segment that suffered greatly during the time of the former regime”.
He pointed out that “the Council Presidency is keen to include the proposed law on the Council’s agenda to address the problems facing this segment and compensate it for the damage it suffered as a result of its opposition to the policies of the former regime”.
