Sheikh Khazali and Abdul Mahdi stress the importance of setting a timetable for the exit of foreign forces from the country.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad, on Wednesday, the former Prime Minister, Mr. Adil Abdul Mahdi, during which the meeting discussed developments in the security and political scene, and the general situation in the country.
Sheikh Khazali and Mr. Abdul Mahdi stressed the importance of the government taking its pivotal role in protecting national sovereignty, setting a specific and known timetable for the exit of foreign forces from the country, and the ability of our armed forces to maintain and protect security and stability in the country, praising the honorable role of the Islamic Resistance in participating in the confrontation. The brutal Zionist aggression against Gaza has steadfastness and victory.
The two sides renewed their support for the efforts of the central government, and the success of the formation of local governments in the governorates, to enhance and develop services, and activate development and urban projects, to raise the level of economic and social conditions, which reflected positively and clearly on the Iraqis’ feeling of the state’s ability to rise and advance in all fields.
