Al-Halawi: All options are available to Parliament to end the foreign military presence in Iraq.

The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Habib Al-Halawi, confirmed on Tuesday the progress of legislating the decision to remove foreign forces from Iraq, indicating that all options are available to preserve the unity of Iraq.
Al-Halawi said in a press interview, “The American occupation forces must leave Iraq sooner or later,” noting that “all options are available to Parliament to support the government by removing all foreign forces from the country”.
He added, “The House of Representatives will proceed with legislation to remove foreign forces, especially American forces, from the country”.
He explained that “the continued foreign presence on Iraqi soil threatens the security and stability of the country, as well as the continued American violations of national sovereignty”.
