Al-Halawi demands a reconsideration of the decision to imprison Hadi Al-Salami … The voice of truth has a tax.
The head of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary bloc, Representative Habib Al-Halawi, called today (Tuesday) on the judicial authorities to reconsider the imprisonment decision issued against Representative Hadi Al-Salami, while stressing the necessity of holding an emergency parliamentary session to discuss the repercussions of this decision.
Al-Halawi said in a blog post on the “X” website that the voice of truth and justice for the oppressed has a tax and must be paid. Today we have become aware of the sentencing of Representative Hadi Al-Salami to 6 months in prison, with a call in which the representative demanded the rights of the Iraqi people and the provision of the finest and best service.
Al-Halawi called on the concerned authorities to reconsider the decisions that were issued in honor of the professional and good conduct followed by Representative Al-Salami, may God bless him and the esteemed Parliament to hold an emergency session.
