The head of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Habib Al-Halawi, called Today (Wednesday) on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to protect the students and prevent a recurrence of the unfortunate incident to which a number of students were exposed in Al-Hartha in Basra Governorate, considering the incident an image of the corruption spreading throughout the state.
Al-Halawi said in a blog post on the “X” platform, “We received with great sadness the news of the accident of our students in Basra Governorate, and we note to all those concerned in the matter in our governorates to take into consideration the safety of students from the recurrence of such accidents and to coordinate with the traffic and road departments to put up special fences to protect passers-by”.
Al-Halawi attributed this incident to the corruption that had spread in the state system, which did not take into account the urban planning of traffic routes near schools, expressing his hope that such tragic incidents would not be repeated in the future and that the bloodshed of Iraqis would be stopped.
