Al-Bajari appreciates Parliament’s efforts in voting on the law against prostitution and homosexuality.
The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Zahra Al-Bajari, praised today (Sunday) the efforts of the House of Representatives in voting on the law against prostitution and homosexuality, considering that it is important and commensurate with the morals of Iraqi society.
A statement from Al-Bajari’s media office stated that she expressed her thanks to the members of the House of Representatives and the Presidency for their good efforts in voting on the draft law on the first amendment to the Anti-homosexuality Law No. (8) of 1988.
Al-Bajari considered that this amendment is consistent with the principles of Islamic law and all divine laws, as well as the customs, traditions and ethics of Iraqi society.
Al-Bajari also stressed the necessity of organizing social life with such laws that stem from high values and morals.
