A member of the political bureau of the Al-Sadiqoon, Laith Al-Adhari, expressed today (Thursday) the movement’s concern about the suppression of freedoms and the violations practiced by the American administration against civilians, including professors and university students, who support the Palestinian cause and demand, through their peaceful protests, an end to the crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza.
A statement by Al-Adhari stated that the Al-Sadiqoon is deeply concerned about the violations practiced by the United States government today against civilian professors and university students, which in turn threatens human rights and fundamental freedoms protected constitutionally.
He added that these violations threaten defenseless civilians who are most at risk in American society, and the methods used to obstruct freedom of public expression and personal expression, and obstruct the work of civil society organizations and student unions throughout the United States.
He also pointed out that these violations weaken the United States’ ability to embrace democracy and freedom of expression, which negatively affects its economy and attracts foreign scholarships.
Al-Adhari pointed out that the violations monitored by the international and global media and the arbitrary actions in the United States will harm business and economic growth in the country, considering that respect for human rights and freedom of expression for a wide segment of society’s youth and teachers is essential for the security, stability and prosperity of the United States of America.
