The head of the Parliamentary Martyrs and Political Prisoners Committee, representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Hassan Salem, confirmed on Tuesday that caring for the segment of martyrs is a sacred duty that requires the members of his committee to be free from political quarrels and differences.
Salem said in a blog post on the “X” platform that whoever puts his trust in God and trusts in Him does not need justification, does not care about what is said, and is not concerned with political bickering, disagreements, and non-political humanitarian positions.
Salem stated that martyrs are a sacred title devoid of politics, pointing out that human conscience and the legal, moral and professional duty require everyone to pay attention to the segment of martyrs, victims and prisoners without discrimination.
He pointed out that this approach is at the core of the work of the Parliamentary Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners Committee.
