Sheikh Khazali discusses with the Chinese ambassador to Baghdad strengthening bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received today (Monday) the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Iraq, Mr. Cui Wei, while during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and the strengthening of economic cooperation were discussed.
A statement by Sheikh Khazali’s media office stated that during the meeting, bilateral relations between Baghdad and Beijing were reviewed, developments in local, regional and international political affairs, and investment opportunities in Iraq are present due to the stability of the security situation.
Sheikh Al-Amin also appreciated China’s positions in support of the Palestinian issue and its rejection of the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his happiness with this meeting, praising Sheikh Khazali’s patriotic positions on all issues pertaining to Iraq and the region and his role in supporting the political process inside the country.
