Sheikh Khazali stresses the need to redouble efforts to alleviate the suffering of the families of victims of mass graves and to reveal the fate of their children.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, called today (Thursday) on governmental and international bodies to make more efforts to alleviate the suffering of the families of victims of mass graves and to reveal the fate of their children, recalling the horrific massacres committed by the criminal Saddam regime against the Iraqi people.
Sheikh Khazali said, in a blog post on the “X” platform, that: On the sixteenth of May (Mass Graves Day in Iraq), which was chosen to commemorate the horrific massacres committed by the criminal Saddam tyrant against our dear Iraqi people throughout the years of his hateful rule, It still represents a bleeding wound in the human conscience. We offer our highest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and victims who lost their families and loved ones there.
His Eminence stressed the need to redouble efforts by government agencies and international organizations to alleviate their great suffering and find effective solutions that reveal their fate and identify their pure bodies.
His Eminence continued, saying: May God cover them with His vast mercy, and curse their killers and oppressors forever and ever, and there is no power or strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.
