Sheikh Khazali: Ending the work of the United Nations mission in Iraq indicates the achievement of security, political and societal stability.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, today (Friday) blessed the Iraqis with the issuance of the UN Security Council resolution to end the work of the United Nations mission in Iraq, considering that this resolution indicates the achievement of security, political and societal stability and the improvement of the country’s conditions.
Sheikh Khazali said, in a blog post on the “X” platform, that he congratulates the dear Iraqi people on the issuance of the UN Security Council resolution to end the work of the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) in Iraq.
His Eminence stressed that this decision indicates the achievement of security, political and societal stability, and the improvement of the country’s conditions in general, considering that achieving this matter came to him as a result of the integration of government efforts with national political forces, which produced popular satisfaction and international approval.
His Eminence expressed his hope that this decision would be an incentive to exert more efforts to serve Iraq and the Iraqis, and achieve our goals in building a dignified, capable state that enjoys sovereignty, security, and prosperity.
