The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, today (Thursday) offered his condolences and sympathy to the owner of the era and time (may God bless him and grant him peace), the great authorities of religion, and the entire Islamic nation, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him).
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in a blog post on the “X” platform, that: We extend our highest condolences to the shrine of our Master, the Master of the Age and Time (may God’s prayers be upon him), our eminent scholars, our great authorities, and the entire Islamic nation, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the ninth Imam of Guidance, Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad ( peace be upon him).
His Eminence confirmed that Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) lived a sensitive period that was represented by many challenges, the most prominent of which was his assuming the imamate at a young age, and confronting the unjust governments that were contemporary with his imamate, in addition to the doctrinal and intellectual deviations that emerged in his time (peace be upon him).
His Eminence indicated that Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) faced these challenges just as his pure fathers faced them, and began explaining to people the teachings of the authentic Islamic religion represented by prophecy and imamate, and rejecting everything that comes from other than these divine sources.
His Eminence added: The presence of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) represented a threat to the ruling regime, due to the active and leadership role that this Imam had for the nation, so the authority decided to get rid of him, and that is what happened, so that our Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) passed away as a martyr. Joining his fathers, the pure martyrs.
His Eminence continued by saying: May peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he was martyred, and the day he is resurrected alive.
