Sheikh Khazali congratulates the anniversary of the founding of the Popular Mobilization Forces and demands the speedy approval of the service and retirement law for its members.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, extended today (Thursday) congratulations and blessings to the Iraqi people on the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Popular Mobilization Forces, while I recall the great sacrifices made by those who responded to the fatwa of the Sufficient Jihad of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. (May his shadow be long), he called on the House of Representatives to expedite the approval of the service and retirement law for members of the Mobilization Forces and to guarantee their rights.
Sheikh Khazali said in a blog post on the “X” platform, “With feelings of honor and pride, we congratulate our dear people, on the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Holy Popular Mobilization Forces, the achievement holder and defender of the state and its institutions”.
His Eminence affirmed that “the establishment of the Popular Mobilization was a necessary response dictated by the difficult circumstances and the complex situations that our country passed through. The decisive response was to race towards the arenas of heroism and sacrifice with the courage and determination of the brave sons of Iraq, who wrote the most wonderful epics of sacrifice and pride, to be the line of defense in defending Religion, honor, and land, and a thorn in the eye of those who want to target doctrine and belief”.
His Eminence added by saying, “A tribute of reverence and honor to the author of the fatwa and its leader, the Sistani authority, and to the makers of our victory and its leaders, the martyr Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani, and our righteous martyrs”.
His Eminence continued, saying: “A salute of pride and honor to those whose bodies were embroidered with wounds, and to those who gave dearly and preciously in order to defend their homeland and the unity of its lands,” stressing that the people of Iraq, the people of resistance and defiance, will not bend in repelling any aggression or conspiracy that the forces of evil and aggression may bet on to pass”.
On this occasion, Sheikh Khazali also called on the esteemed House of Representatives to expedite the approval of the service and retirement law for members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, to guarantee and protect their rights, just like the rest of the security services formations, adding, “Happy New Year to our heroic resistance sons”.
