The spokesman for the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, considered today (Sunday) the statements of the US ambassador to Iraq, Tracy Jacobson, a violation of national sovereignty, while noting that these statements reflect hatred and malice against Iraq and its people.
Al-Baldawi said in a press interview, “The American ambassador’s statements constitute a threat to Iraqi national security, accusing her of violating national sovereignty”.
He added that the American embassy is no longer a diplomatic mission, but has turned into a military barracks that violates national sovereignty by interfering in every way.
He pointed out that “Jacobson’s statements are rejected and we will not allow them to interfere in Iraq’s internal affairs in any way, pointing out that Parliament will have a clear and frank position on such racist statements that reflect hatred and malice”.
