The representative of the Sadiqoon parliamentary, Rafiq Al-Salihiy, confirmed today (Sunday) that the American presence has become a threat to Iraq’s sovereignty, calling on the government to implement the parliament’s decision to expel American forces.
Al-Salihiy said, “America crossed the red lines and confirmed its combative faces inside Iraq, indicating that the American occupation continues its aggression against the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignt”.
He added, “The national political forces reject the Americans staying in Iraq for a longer period”.
He continued, “The government is obligated to set a specific timetable for the withdrawal of the last American soldier from Iraq”.
