The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, extended today (Friday) congratulations and blessings to the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the occasion of the seventy-eighth anniversary of its founding, expressing his wishes for the party to achieve the national goals for which it was founded, and to preserve the security and unity of Iraq.
His Eminence said in a blog post on the “X” platform, that: On the occasion of the seventy-eighth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he extends congratulations and blessings to its leaders, members and staff, headed by His Eminence expressed his hope for them to succeed in serving the people of the Kurdistan region in particular, and Iraq in general, and that the party’s journey would be crowned with the achievement of the noble national goals, for which it was founded, and which sacrifices were made in the fight against the defunct Saddam regime.
His Eminence added by saying: We hope that the party will have clear contributions to preserving the security and unity of Iraq, which brings us together under its banner, and in which we bear the responsibility of working hard to serve our dear people of all sects.
