Sheikh Khazali confirms the keenness of Al’atar Altansiqei to resolve the issue of the position of Speaker of Parliament.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, confirmed today (Friday) the keenness of Al’atar Altansiqei to resolve the issue of the position of Speaker of Parliament, and while the delay in resolving this matter is an unhealthy issue, he explained that the role of Al’atar is to support the agreement of the Sunni forces on a candidate for the position.
Sheikh Khazali said that the Shiite party is described as the big brother, and its job is not to swallow up the other or eliminate it, but rather to protect him. He is the one who chooses the prime minister, but not by forcing others, and this is a political custom.
His Eminence stated that the role of Al’atar Altansiqei is to ensure that the two different Sunni parties agree, and not to force them to choose a specific candidate. Anyone who says something else is either a liar or delusional.
His Eminence indicated that the party most interested in accelerating the selection of the Speaker of the House of Representatives is Al’atar Altansiqei and much more than some of the Sunni parties themselves, pointing out that it is not possible to choose a Speaker of Parliament or a President of the Republic and have comments on him and “force” me to do so, and we must accept it.
His Eminence added that Al’atar Altansiqei, as it represents the largest component, is concerned with the success of the political process, and therefore not choosing a speaker for Parliament for a period of nine months is an unhealthy and incorrect issue.
Sheikh Khazali believed that without the intervention of the latest and strong Al’atar Altansiqei, the Sunnis would not agree on the Speaker of the House of Representatives, since the Sunni problem has turned into a national problem and component differences.
His Eminence explained that his personal conviction is that working to bring them together and convince them to agree on one mechanism or one candidate, and this is what the Al’atar did and succeeded with the help of the Patriotic and Democratic Union of Kurdistan, but the party that made the proposal contradicted his words within less than 24 hours and he was the one who had the right and he Not progress, of course.
His Eminence continued, “Taqadum” was approved and the result was good, but in less than 24 hours we undermined “siyada” and “eazm” with what was committed and pledged to 5 figures from the framework and to the two Kurdish parties.
