Sheikh Khazali: The Iraqi tribes played a major role in preserving society and protecting the country from the dangers of terrorism.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, praised the pivotal role of the Iraqi tribes in various national issues, especially in supporting the resistance and confronting occupation and terrorism, in a speech he delivered during his visit to the Emirate of Bani Hassan in the Haidariya district of Najaf.
A statement by Sheikh Khazali’s media office stated that His Eminence stressed that the Iraqi tribes had a major role in preserving society and protecting the country from the dangers of terrorism, in addition to their role in supporting the state and its constitutional institutions, noting that the role of tribal sheikhs and clerics created popular support to confront the situation all the challenges facing the country.
For their part, the sheikhs and notables of the Emirate of Beni Hassan welcomed Sheikh Khazali’s visit them, by raising the slogan, “With the unity of resistance and clans, we defeated the occupation and terrorism in Iraq,” appreciating at the same time the patriotic stances of his eminence and his constant endeavor to serve the people of the governorate.
