The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, met with the family of the martyred leader Mahdi Saleh al-Zaidi (Abu Hassan) on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his martyrdom.
A statement issued by Sheikh Al-Khazaali’s media office stated that His Eminence praised the heroic role of the martyr Mahdi Saleh Al-Zaidi in resisting the occupation and participating in defending the shrine of Al-Aqila Zainab (peace be upon her), in addition to his participation in confronting ISIS terrorism and liberating all areas of Diyala Governorate until his martyrdom in the battles of the city of “Amerli”, considering that his heroic legacy will remain alive in the hearts of his loved ones and companions.
For its part, the family of the martyr Mahdi Saleh Al-Zaidi expressed its appreciation for this meeting, while at the same time appreciating the continuous moral support of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Amin for the families of the martyrs.
