Saad Al-Saadi, a member of the political bureau of the Sadiqoon, confirmed today (Saturday) that there is a lot of misinformation about the Personal Status Law by some media outlets and political parties.
Al-Saadi said in a press interview, “The political parties that opposed the approval of the Personal Status Law want to obstruct the work of Parliament and the legislation of laws,” stressing that “the coming days will be sufficient to resolve this issue and approve the Personal Status Law despite the opponents”.
He added, “There are internal and external parties, political blocs and media figures trying to mislead about this law and introduce some paragraphs that do not exist in this law,” stressing that “there is a real will on the part of Parliament and the national political blocs to pass the law soon”.
