His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazaali said during a televised interview that the American intelligence has a clear understanding of the peoples and knows the sources of danger based on economic, geopolitical, and ideological criteria.
His Eminence pointed out that religious belief plays a major role in American policies, especially with regard to decisions such as moving the American embassy to Al Quds, while he saw that the Zionist belief, which believes in the necessity of Jewish sovereignty at the end of time, is the main driver of some of these decisions, pointing out that Iraq occupies an important position in this belief due to its geopolitical location.
Sheikh Al-Khazaali explained that the huge sums spent by the United States in Iraq, which amount to 3 billion dollars annually, do not aim to improve the conditions of the Iraqi people, but rather aim to target the cultural and religious identity of the Iraqis, noting that the espionage and cultural interference operations carried out by the United States in Iraq are part of a broader plan to distort cultural and ideological values.
His Eminence considered that the American military presence in Iraq did not end since 2003, but rather took different forms, starting from military occupation and reaching the presence of advisors and coalition forces, stressing that the Iraqi resistance achieved great victories against this presence, which forced the American forces to partially withdraw at the end of 2011.
Regarding the regional conflict, His Eminence Sheikh Khazali pointed out that Iraq and Yemen play an influential role in supporting the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation. He stressed that coordination between the Iraqi and Yemeni roles could have a significant impact on the conflict equation.
Sheikh Al-Khazaali stressed that the Iraqi resistance will continue to confront the American presence in all its forms, whether under the cover of the international coalition or as advisors.
His Eminence also stressed the necessity of maintaining a balance between the state and the resistance in Iraq, pointing out that the existence of the resistance does not conflict with the existence of the state, but rather they can be combined to achieve the interests of Iraq and its people.
