The Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary sent Today (Sunday) a letter to the US Ambassador, Alina Romansky, regarding amending the Personal Status Law.
The head of the Sadiqoon, Habib al-Halawi, said, “The Iraqi Parliament will pass the amendment to the Personal Status Law, and we do not expect any good from America and its ambassador in Iraq”.
He added, “The men who defended Iraq from the filth of terrorism are able to pass the personal status law, and the Washington ambassador should not worry about the fate of Iraqi women who gave birth to men”.
He pointed out that “the Iraqi woman is protected and does not expect any good from the American ambassador of evil, and we will not allow her to interfere in the affairs of the Iraqis and organize their personal status”.
