The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, received at his headquarters in Baghdad today (Sunday) the head of the Arabism Alliance, Representative Sheikh Wasfi al-Assi.
A statement from Sheikh Al-Khazali’s media office stated that during the meeting, the latest developments in the political scene and the events that Iraq and the region are experiencing were discussed.
In his speech, His Eminence stressed the necessity of unifying efforts and striving to end the pending problems in order to expedite the enactment of the laws that the Iraqi citizen is waiting for.
For his part, the guest representative praised the great national role of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Amin in national issues, especially in Kirkuk, and offered his congratulations on the occasion of the convening of the second general conference of the Sadiqoon.
