Al-Halawi denounces Iraq’s representative’s failure to withdraw from UN General Assembly meeting during Netanyahu’s speech.
The head of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Habib Al-Halawi, expressed today (Monday) his strong condemnation of the failure of the Iraqi representative to withdraw from the United Nations General Assembly meeting during the speech of the president of the usurping Zionist entity, noting that this behavior is not consistent with Iraq’s firm position rejecting normalization.
Al-Halawi confirmed in a post on the “X” platform that “the position of the Sadiqoon bloc is firm in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, expressing his dissatisfaction with this behavior that contradicts the official and popular orientations in Iraq”.
Al-Halawi called on the government to clarify its position on this incident and hold accountable those responsible for this behavior, which does not express Iraq’s firm positions on the Palestinian issue.
