The Parliament for the Sadiqoon, Zainab Jumaa Al-Moussawi, confirmed that voting on the first amendment to the Martyrs Foundation Law No. 2 of 2016 in Parliament is part of the loyalty and gratitude to the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland.
Al-Moussawi explained in a statement that the Sadiqoon bloc promised and fulfilled its promise to obtain the rights and privileges of the families of the martyrs and wounded, who made great sacrifices to confront terrorism and protect Iraq.
She added that these privileges guarantee a decent life for the families of martyrs and the wounded, stressing the importance of continuing to provide support to them.
Al-Moussawi also praised the role of the representatives, especially the Sadiqoon, in effectively contributing to the legislation of this law, noting that there is good news awaiting the members of the Popular Mobilization Forces soon, with the progress of work on their service and retirement law, which is expected to be approved in the coming period.
