The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, met with the former Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr. Adil Abdul Mahdi, today (Thursday) in Baghdad.
A statement by Sheikh Khazali’s media office stated that during the meeting, the latest developments in events in the Iraqi, regional and international arena were discussed.
The two parties stressed the need to intensify efforts to support the Iraqi government in its service, economic and security efforts, in order to provide the best living opportunities for the Iraqi citizen, who has begun to witness a tangible improvement in his daily life.
