The Sadiqoon affirms Iraq’s firm position in confronting Zionist escalation and supporting the resistance.

The Sadiqoon parliamentary affirmed Today (Wednesday) Iraq’s firm position in the face of the repeated Zionist escalation, stressing its support for the resistance fronts in Palestine and Lebanon, and denouncing the Israeli occupation’s attempts to falsify the facts and distort the image of Iraq.
The Sadiqoon said in a statement that in the face of the repeated Zionist escalation and its miserable attempts to falsify the facts and legitimize its aggression, the Sadiqoon affirms that Iraq, its people, authority, government and resistance, stands firmly in supporting the honorable resistance fronts in Lebanon, Palestine and all those who confront the usurping occupation.
The Sadiqoon reiterated its firm position in support of the Palestinian cause, which represents the core of the Arab and Islamic resistance struggle against injustice and occupation.
The statement explained that the allegations made by the Foreign Minister of the Zionist entity in his letter to the UN Security Council, which targeted the Popular Mobilization Forces, represent blatant attempts to distort the image of Iraq and its Popular Mobilization Forces, which represent the shield of the homeland and its impregnable fence, considering that these lies come within a series of hostile moves that aim to justify targeting Iraq and trying to undermine its state and army.
The bloc pointed out that these allegations come within a systematic campaign that reflects historical hatred towards Iraq, noting that the Israeli entity has targeted Iraqi scientists and state institutions over the past decades, as part of plans aimed at destabilizing the region.
The Sadiqoon stressed that the Iraqi government and its armed forces are on alert to respond forcefully to any Zionist attempts targeting the country’s sovereignty or its sanctities, stressing that any transgression will be met with a painful response.
In the same context, the Sadiqoon held the Zionist entity and its Western and American supporters responsible for the ongoing escalation, considering that the support enjoyed by the entity represents a violation of international laws and a threat to regional security, while stressing that Iraq will not allow any force to undermine its sovereignty or security.
The Sadiqoon also called on the Security Council and the international community to take action to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its violations, stressing that Iraq, which has made great sacrifices in defense of its land and sovereignty, will remain steadfast in the face of all attempts to undermine its security and stability.
